Piotr Badura

Before CRIF I was for 10 year in a primary Italian Insurance company as senior manager in Claim Management Office.

Mariusz Cholewa

CEO BIK and ACCIS President

Mr. Mariusz Cholewa is a graduate of the University of Gdańsk, the Faculty of Management. In 2005 he obtained his PhD Degree in Economics. He also completed postgraduate studies in Banking and Finance, with the specialisation in Investment Banking, conducted by the London Guidhall University, the Gdańsk Banking Academy and the University of Gdańsk.

In the years 1993-1998 he cooperated with the Gdańsk Banking Academy, as a Management Board member, participating at the same time in the research on the financial restructuring of enterprises and banks pursued by the Gdańsk Institute of Market Economics. In the years 1995-2003 he was an associate professor at the Faculty of Management at the University of Gdańsk.

 

In the period of 2007-2010 he was the CEO of Bank Rozwoju Cukrownictwa S.A. In 1998 Mariusz Cholewa joined Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. (Citi Handlowy), where he held a number of managerial positions, and till April 2013 he was the Director of the Strategy Department. He was a member of supervisory boards of many companies for e.g.: banks, investment and insurance companies including public granted companies. In the years 2012-2013 he was a member of Biuro Informacji Kredytowej S.A. Supervisory Board.

He has been the President of the BIK Management Board since June 2013. He is also the President of the Supervisory Board of BIG InfoMonitor S.A. – Economic Information Bureau.


Since May 2020 he has been the President of the Management Board of ACCIS, the voice of organisations responsibly managing data to assess the financial credibility of consumers and businesses.

Davide Corda

I am a Senior Director within the Group Data Office of Intesa Sanpaolo with responsibility over the definition of the Group Data Strategy and management of the Data Transformation Plan, including budget, platform, value realization framework and data design authority.

The Data Transformation plan is an ongoing multiyear big data programme to create the Group data ecosystem, to integrate the data supply chain for all core governance, regulatory and business processes and to foster data culture and data exploitation in the business enabling online data services, analytics and AI.

In addition, I collaborate with the EU Commission as a member of the Expert Group on European financial data space and open finance.

Previously to Intesa Sanpaolo, I was 20 years with Accenture, as Managing Director in charge of the Applied Intelligence Delivery practice in UK & Ireland and lead Analytics Solution Architect for Europe.

Marlies Gevaert

Head of Partnerships, Greenomy

Marlies is responsible for managing partnerships at Greenomy, an international, user-owned ESG market infrastructure. Greenomy helps corporates, credit institutions and asset managers measure, disclose and improve their sustainability levels according to new EU sustainable finance standards (EU Taxonomy, SFDR and NFRD/CSRD). Marlies holds a master’s degree in political economy from the London School of Economics (LSE) and has previously worked as advisor on sustainability in the European Parliament and in commercial and public affairs roles in the technology sector.

Carlo Gherardi

Carlo Gherardi received his degree in Economics from the University of Bologna, Italy.

Between 1979 and 1988 his career experience has included working as an International Business Consultant, as Controller in a leasing company and later as Chairman and Managing Director of a Retail Credit Company.

In 1988 Carlo Gherardi, together with some Financial Institutions, founded CRIF, the first Credit Bureau in Italy for retail credit, and has been since then the CEO.

CRIF is a global company supplying solutions to support banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, telcos, utilities and general businesses in every phase of customer relations. In 35 years, CRIF expanded to the present Group, with CRIF Companies in 40 countries, over 6,600 staff professionals and over 700ML Euros of revenues.

Carlo Gherardi and CRIF were among the founders, in 1990, of ACCIS, the Association of Consumer Credit Information Suppliers. Mr. Gherardi has been ACCIS President between 1997 and 2000.

He is also co-founder of the World Consumer Credit Reporting Network, which held the first conference in Rome in 1998. Since then, the WCCRC has been organized every 2 years in different places all around the world.

He has been working at the OJK since 2014 in several positions, such as Deputy Director of Prudential Banking, Research and Banking Regulation Department, Director of Directorate of Banking Regulation, and Advisor of Banking Supervision Quality Control Department.

From 1993 to 2013, Mr. Harahap worked at the Central Bank of Indonesia, where he held various positions. These included Assistant Pro Manager – Credit Analyst, Bank Analyst – Banking Regulation Team, and Head of Banking Prudential Division of the Research and Banking Regulation Department.

In 2003 to 2009, he was assigned as Head of Compliance Supervision Group at Financial Transaction Reporting and Analysis Center/PPATK.

Mr. Harahap holds a Master of Management and a Bachelor of Economics from Gadjah Mada University. Additionally, he attended the Regular Education Program (PPRA 63) at the National Resilience Institute (LEMHANNAS) of the Republic of Indonesia.

Stuart Holland

He was a Non-Executive Director of Indesser, an Equifax company that has recovered over £4 billion of debt for the UK government. Stuart has also worked in financial services, regulation and chaired a mental health charity.

Petros Kapasouris

General Manager, TIRESIAS

Dr Petros Kapasouris is the General Manager of TIRESIAS having worked at the company for more than 25 years in various positions, such as Management Consultant, Business Development Manager, Production Manager and Head of Research and Development. He is responsible for shaping and implementing the company’s strategy, its business planning and digital transformation, as well as for developing services with added value in the new era of information, overseeing the development of new sources of data, credit scoring systems and decision-making support systems. He has worked as a business consultant at Intrasoft (responsible for the strategic design of computer systems, business organisation and business process re-engineering) and in the USA as a research and development engineer at Alphatech (currently BAE – British Aerospace) in the field of aeronautics control systems theory, human performance modelling and decisionmaking automation systems.  He has also worked at GE Aviation (USA) in designing automatic control system methodologies for aircraft and helicopter engines, and at Omega Engineering (USA) as a temperature control systems engineer. He holds a Ph.D. and a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Μ.Ι.Τ (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut. Dr Kapasouris has published various papers on topics such as credit score calculation, credit check, strategy and strategic design of computer systems.  His published research focuses on multi-variable control systems and their applications in the aerospace industry, algorithms for optimising resource allocation and performance evaluation of human-machine collaboration in large organisations.

Elena Koneva

Elena Koneva is an experienced manager of FICO’s International Scoring and Credit Bureaus businesses in 16 markets including Russia, CIS, Middle East, Northern Africa and Europe for the last 12 years. After receiving a degree in law (PhD, specific in intellectual property), Elena worked for 7 years with a leading credit bureau from the day 1 of its operations. During that time, she also participated in credit sector regulations drafting and national discussions for the banking sector in Russia. In addition to Law degree, Elena graduated Higher School of Economy as Stock market and investment specialist.

Srdjan Kosutic

Srdjan Kosutic serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Fido, a global customer scoring & analytics platform that detects hundreds of data points from digital footprints such as phone number, email address, IP address, device and browser. Srdjan’s background merges expertise in technology and financial service industries, acquired through his nearly 15-year tenure at UniCredit, a notable European banking group. Petr Kučera

Petr Kučera is the Regional Managing Director of the Czech and Slovak Credit Bureaux at CRIF Group and one of the co-founders of the credit bureau projects in the two countries. He is involved in all strategic areas of business development of this fast growing dynamic company.
Previous to his position, Petr worked for TransUnion-CRIF on new business development in areas of Credit Bureau establishment and ongoing operations, and decision solutions projects across the Central and Eastern European region.
His past professional experience focuses on business and consumer credit data collection across the CEE region and its utilization during the credit granting process for private individuals and corporations. Elvira Oliva

EU Regulatory Coordinator, CRIF

Elvira coordinates CRIF’s regulatory affairs and public affairs in the EU, both for B2B and B2C businesses lines. She is in charge of CRIF’s engagement with EU and local industry associations and of regulatory activities related to EU initiatives. Prior to joining CRIF, Elvira worked in the public affairs consultancy sector – focused on financial and regulated energy markets. She has additional work experience at the EU Parliament and the Italian Permanent Representation to EU. Elvira is a graduate from the University of Bologna with a thesis on EU law, with a specialization on EU politics from Johns Hopkins – School of Advanced International Studies, also located in Bologna.

Rogério Rabelo Peixoto

Manager of the Credit Information Division, Central Bank of Brazil

He is also responsible for the administration and development of the Central Bank Credit Registry – project manager of the second version of the Credit Registry (2012) and is the manager of the ongoing project SCR3, which aims to construct the third version of the Credit Registry.

He has been the Central Bank of Brazil representative at the International Committee on Credit Reporting – ICCR – Word Bank since 2012.

He has been working in the Central Bank of Brazil since 1998 in several positions, such as Manager of the Credit Risk Monitoring Division and IT Manager.

Besides from his current position at the Central Bank of Brazil, he worked as a System Analyst at Brazilian Telecommunications Company – Telebrás mainly in Telecommunication Automation projects.

He holds an MBA in Business Administration from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas.

Mr. Peixoto has participated in consultancy and training on Credit Information and Credit Risk Monitoring in countries like Haiti, Cape Verde, Paraguay, São Tomé and Principe, El Salvador, Morocco and Turkey.

Hakan Pekiner

Founder, Quants Risk Analytics

Hakan Pekiner is the founder of Quants Risk Analytics, a company specialized in advanced analytical solutions for risk management problems. Hakan has 32 years of experience in finance industry with top management and Board level positions in various areas of banking including, treasury, risk management and finance. He also worked for PwC in consulting and audit areas. Lately he completed various risk and modeling projects with Experian and SAS. Since 2020 Hakan concentrated on developing ‘frontier science’ approaches to financial industry’s so-called problematic areas as far as analytics concerned. Jean Pesme

Luciano Scalise

Luciano is the Decision Analytics (DA) Managing Director for EMEA & APAC, and a member of the region’s Executive Leadership Team, reporting into Malin Holmberg, CEO, EMEA & APAC. Luciano has been with Experian for 15 years, holding a number of senior leadership roles in Latin America and EMEA & APAC. He joined the business in 2008 to lead the Business Consulting practice for Spanish Latin America.
In 2013, he relocated to Brazil where he took responsibility for the Business Consulting practice for Brazil.

Hartmut Schott

Product and project manager, SCHUFA

Dr Hartmut Schott has been responsible for product and project management at SCHUFA Holding AG since June 2021 and for business development and project management in the corporate customer sector since September 2022. After studying economics at the University of Cologne and the University of Edinburgh, he spent most of his career in banking and finance. He has held various specialist and management positions, particularly in the areas of strategy, projects and investment management, as well as various supervisory board and managing director positions in banks and other investment companies. Enrique Velázquez

Enrique Velázquez was appointed Director General of ACCIS in June 2017. Before that, he worked for the Brussels-based European Banking Federation (EBF) for over ten years, the last five as head of Public Affairs.


Prior to joining EBF, Enrique was a Supervisor at the Spanish Securities Markets Supervisor (CNMV) in Madrid for nearly five years. He was also an Officer at the Paris-based Committee for European Securities Regulators (CESR), the embryo of the current European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA).
